In my opinion, no, just no.

As far as the i5 goes, depending on what you're using it for its fine. i7 is for heavy editing/rendering work.

290x is a brilliant card however again depending on what you're using it for there is some good cheaper options that would be brilliant game perfomance.

Watercooling isn't really necessary at all in my opinion, a powerful air cooler is more than good enough for less.


As far as that whole build goes, it seems overpriced. I'd recommend looking elsewhere or getting someone in the forums here to build you one for a much cheaper budget, that in my eyes is a waste of money.

why should he spend more on an i7 when there is NO benefit while gaming. If he was working for a multimedia company then it is reasonable, but I doubt it.
Please go and so some learning on Intel CPU's and why i7's are NOT worth the extra money in a gaming perspective.
