Hey guys I've never been to a gamestop midnight release before and I was wondering how it works.

I pre-ordered my GTA V copy already, can I go at opening hours of gamestop and get my ticket or do I have to go at night time?

I live in New York btw.

You usually go inside the Gamestop, show them proof of your pre-order, they give you a ticket with a number/group on it. Then you just wait for your number or group to be called. Atleast thats how it was for Black Ops 2.

Make sure you take ID in case they ask.

Yeah, you will need an ID to prove you're over 17 or have someone whos over 17 with you with an ID.

pretty sure it has to be at night my gamestop said 10 oclock to finalize your purchase and get your group number

stand in line deal with douchey people play the game a night before regular people or just wait til the next day and go get it and dont stand in line your choice
