Synopsis
Royal Revolt! is a challenging and beautiful reverse tower defence game. In 3D.

Plot
Royal Revolt has a fairly unique plot. The Prince goes away to study and whilst he is away his father, the King dies. When the King dies, his Auntie, Uncle and cousin take over separate parts of the kingdom which should belong to the Prince as he is obviously the heir to the throne. In order to reclaim the kingdom and regain your rightful place on the throne, you have to take over the kingdom with the help of your fathers troops fighting against your family members until every area is under your control.

Gameplay
The gameplay of this game is very similar to most other tower defence games, however one thing that makes it stand out from other similar games is the fact that it is three dimensional. The player controls the Prince and is able to call in new troops through time and use spells to aid his troops and damage his enemies. As the player levels up, new troops and spells can be unlocked with gold coins which are obtained when enemies are killed and levels are completed. The player has to fight against soldiers, archers, maces and catapults whilst also being ambushed by traps, cannons and running lava. There is also another currency in the game called gems which allow the player to buy more things recently introduced which cannot be bought with coins, unfortunately gems are extremely hard to come across in the game, so if you want them, chances are you will have to fork out of your own pocket for them. Overall, the game consists of 42 campaign levels, with extras along the way and will take you hours upon hours to complete everything, so definitely worth the thirty seconds it takes to download.

Graphics
Royal Revolt has very clean and smooth animated graphics which cause no problems at all. Glitches are extremely rare to come about so there is no need to worry about the game freezing and progress being lost. The game is very colourful with nice scenery but gets darker as you progress through the campaign and move into the mountains. For a free game on such a device, the graphics are very good and definitely do not hinder gameplay at all.

Controls
Royal Revolt has minimal controls which the players need to use. Since the game is only available on touch screen devices, no keyboard or controller is needed so as you can expect, the controls are very simple. The player taps where he would like to move the Prince and he will automatically attack enemies when close enough. The player simply taps spells to activate them and troops to call them onto the battlefield. The controls are very easy to use and could be used by a very un-experienced gamer. No problems what-so-ever in this field.
