Synopsis
Smurfs Village is a smurfing new smurf that smurfs back childhood smurfs for many smurfs, young or smurf. Didnt catch that? Then you havent been playing enough Smurfs Village.

Plot
The evil Gargamel as found the Smurfs village forcing all of the Smurfs to escape into the forest else suffer becoming Gargamels prisoner. The game begins with Papa Smurf requesting your help to re-build Smurf village to its former glory in a new area. Through the game you will be tasked with searching for Smurfs who have been lost in the forest since they fled the old village and bringing them to the new village. As you play more you will unlock new areas to expand your village into to become the best possible village for your Smurfs.

Gameplay
This game only offers a single-player experience however it is possible to interact with friends on-line by visiting their village, leaving gifts and watering plants to help out your friends. Smurfs Village is a very slow paced game where progress is steadily created as it follows real time. To level up and earn XP players must plant crops for a certain length of time and be ready to harvest them on time so they do not spoil. Other methods of leveling up include playing mini-games, completing tasks set by various Smurfs, feeding animals and placing items bought with in game money which can also be earned by planting crops and playing mini-games. As you progress through levels you will unlock new areas and characters to start up a new village and complete different quests. When the player levels up or completes challenges he/she will earn Smurfberries which can be used to purchase limited items, rare characters and new mini-games. Smurfberries can be purchased with real money but are very overpriced. Some of the quests can become quite repetitive which remove a factor of surprise from the game and can be quite boring the complete again. Overall the gameplay is very slow but worth the time if you want a better village than all of your friends!

Graphics
The graphics on Smurfs Village are very smooth and clean with bright colours. There are a few glitches but nothing to worry about as it will be patched within the next regular update. The music is catchy but can quickly become annoying making the player turn down the volume on his device. The sound effects are nice and make a nice addition to the game. Overall, the graphics are very nice and do not hinder gameplay at all.



Controls
This game can only be played on touch screen devices so actions are completed using the players fingers and thumbs. One of the features that stands out about the controls is that items do not have to be dragged when the player is choosing where to place it as he/she can just select where they would like the item to go which saves a lot of time. The controls are very simple and are designed for young children to access all areas with no aid so they should be no trouble to master for a gamer.
