Please read the following as it will not only help you, but the Minecraft section as a whole.
New sections were implemented since minecraft is popular and to make posts more effective and efficient when seeking an answer (i.e. mod support, server help, etc). Please post in the correct section and take advantage of Minecraft having sub sections now.
UPDATE
The above message clearly says no distribution of the .jar or the .minecraft folder, but there seems to be a few topics where people are asking for/distributing Modded/hacked clients, which is also not allowed.

I'm tired of seeing spam/threads that purposely break the rules.
1. Selling/trading accounts/giveaways is not permitted and this includes minecraft codes/accounts if any more of this is seen you will receive at least a 24-48hr ban and a warning. Consider this your FINAL warning before consequences. Refer to the following forum rule: "1.13 Any type of Account Sales/Trades/Giveaways are prohibited on TheTechGame. (e.g. Youtube/Runescape/Xbox ect.) "
2. Asking for subs outside the sticky in the Youtube Famous section is not permitted nor are givewaways.
3. Please start to post in the correct section. If needed request for your post to be moved to the proper sub section, if you haven't already.
4. If you got banned from a server please do not make a topic about it. This matter needs to be dealt by either sending the person a private message, or by another method of contact...NOT a thread saying "Why was I banned off ____ server."
Edit-(addition to this rule) 5. These "Griefing Clans/groups" threads will not be tolerated. If a thread is seen about this "oh come join it..." it will be deleted and you will be issued a warning/possible ban, if it continues. No one wants to be griefed and it is not up to you to say others deserve it. If you don't like how you are treated then leave the server, don't flame about it and seek revenge. There are many servers you can join, but to avoid issues their rules must be followed upon joining. Threads with "griefing content" (i.e videos, clients, etc) will be closed and follow the same consequences. Encouraging griefing, indirectly or not, will not be tolerated.
6. Do NOT bump your own thread/spam.
7. Please do not post any .jar`s in the minecraft section(s). If you do, the post will be deleted and you will be issued a warning if you continue to break the rules.
8. You are not allowed to mention donations and/or donator ranks on your topics. Exceptions to this rule are made for staff members (see Ecko's sticky).
9. Report any thread/post that is violating the forum rules.

This seems far too common in this section and it needs to stop. You CANNOT ask for donations anywhere on the site. Too many users do not follow this global rule so now I am reinforcing it here.
1st offence: Topic deletion and verbal warning
2nd offence: Topic deletion and a high warning
3rd offence: Post ban and an additional warning
Anything after the 3rd offence will be staff member discretion. You have been warned.

Adding onto the rules here after seeing some of the recent Minecraft legal issues
If you have any questions about your server violating any of the above rules, don't think twice about sending a PM my way
- 1. Cracked/Offline Servers are NOT allowed here. These servers are for clients that break Copyright law, which is illegal. This is your only warning. Content related to illegal activity will not be allowed anywhere on site.
Users caught breaking this rule may be given a warning or other possible at Staff Discretion
2. Flame wars in this section are much too common. Posts such as:"This server ******* sucks" or "Don't join, owner is a ****", are considered Flaming. Members are free to express their opinion on a server, but keep it civil, and try to incorporate constructive criticism. Members caught igniting flame wars over a server, or being overly harsh towards a user in their comments on a Server will be dealt with.
3. Do not post links to your Server's website on your Topic. Examples could include telling users to go to "Website" to apply for staff, etc. This is considered advertising and your topic will be deleted, a warning for advertising may also be given at staff discretion.
