Prototype 2 (typeset as [PROTOTYPE2]) is an open-world action game published by Activision and developed by Radical Entertainment. Prototype 2 is a direct sequel to Prototype and was announced at the 2010 Spike Video Game Awards.[1]
The events of Prototype 2 takes place in New York City, now known as New York Zero (NYZ), following Sgt. James Heller on his quest to destroy Alex Mercer, after having lost everything and everyone he loved to the Blacklight virus.[2]

Story/Gameplay
So first off, if you haven't played the first one, I strongly recommend you see yourself to play it because you'll be missing a HUGE chunk of information you may want to know. If not, then there's a little movie one can watch to get themselves a little caught up but you may still be a little curious on what just happened but back to the game. So you are James Heller, a man who has been given the Mercer virus. Your mission in the game is to kill Alex Mercer (you played as him in the first game) for killing your family. Now as you go along throughout you Mercer virus life, you will encounter people who will want to kill you, monsters or infected, new army technology, and especially gain powerups which are wicked coo! The game gives you a huge amount of blood and gore that you won't find anywhere else and also give you a storyline that will make you keep playing!

Graphics

The graphics are well made/done and give you a good feel of New York City, well an infected, bloody, dead ridden New York City I suppose..... but either way, good feel! I can honestly say that the blood and gore in this game actually makes it stand apart from any other game with its very bloody finishing moves and the way you consume one (you don't actually eat them don't worry). These unique features let you shine on your dark side and show that a bad person can still be a good guy. So when you play this game, just think "Wow! They really did make this game look like the apocalyptic NYC!"

Controls

Now we have the usual, A to jump, X to attack etc. but this game has alot of moves that will take sometime getting used to. Of course, it's not that hard to learn once you get the hang of it and more moves are available little by little through the game when you get more powers. Overall, this game's controls are easy to learn and you shouldn't have a problem with them!

Rating:
Story: 10
Graphics:9
Controls:9.5
Lasting appeal:7-Not much to do after the game ends. Boring after the last chapter.
Overall rating:9.- Very fun! I beat this in 2 days but after that, not much to do besides get all the collectibles around the map. With that, it took me 3 good days. You can also restart the game but with all your powers making it an easy "beat the game on hard" achievement.
