Synopsis

When the Joker interrupts the "Man of the Year" award ceremony in Gotham City to rampage across the city, Bruce Wayne, a candidate, steps into the shadows to change into the Caped Crusader, Batman. Joker calls upon various villains to assist him, such as Harley Quinn, Riddler, Penguin, and Two-Face. However, Batman teams up with the members of the Justice League in order to stop the Joker before it is too late.

Story

The game starts with a cut scene of Bruce Wayne (Batman) winning the "Man Of The Year Award" Lex luthor coming seconds, Lex didn't take to kindly to this. It is going fine until the joker and notorious convicts like Harley Quinn, Two-Face and The Penguin.
Then you run away and transform into your Batsuit with uncomfortable noises of leather being stretched. You then wipe out Harley Quinn as the Joker escapes. Then moves on to capture Joker and then he is thrown into Arkham Asylum. A short wile later a very mad Lex Luthor comes to rescue the Joker with a new futuristic gun called the "Deconstructor" which deconstructs unbreakable black objects. Joker then uses the weapon to release all of the inmates from Arkham. After learning of a break-in at Ace Chemicals, Batman and Robin search for clues as to what the Joker is up to. After an explosion begins to destroy the factory, the Dynamic Duo is rescued by Superman. Batman then learns what the Joker was up to. The chemicals stolen from the plant, although not particularly dangerous alone, when combined can form Kryptonite. Hitting the signature into the Batmobile's swag computer, Batman and Robin catch up to Lex Luthor's convoy (The Juggernaught) and crushes it. After a brief cut scene, Batman is thrown out of the massive convoy, and enters the Batmobile. Sadly, The Joker has completed his Kryptonite, which is used to power Lex Luthor's gun, and uses it to tear apart Batmans Batmobile. Back at the Batcave, Batman is trying to think of Luthor's next move when suddenly they are attacked by Lex Luthor and The Joker. Using the Decontructor weapon they tear apart Batman's home. Having no way out, Batman forces allows Robin to call Superman for help and they escape the collapsing cave in madness.

Graphics

As it is a cartoon game the graphics are not going to be Frostbite 3.0 3D, but the game does very well for itself with cool features like weapons and a variety of changeable suits. I was playing on a 1080p TV and found no issues to be of my concern.

The controls are the same as Lego: Batman which keeps the story going, I applaud the developer for this!

The game is only sold as a special edition, you get a Lex Luthor toy with the game, it comes in a cardboard case, with the actual plastic case inside too.

Rating: [8 of 10]

Recommended game for killing time, around 35 USD and 30 GBP.
