Synopsis

FIFA Street 3 is a video game for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS. It is the third game in the FIFA Street series. Electronic Arts confirmed that a third FIFA Street game was being developed for next-generation consoles to be released in 2008.[4] The game will be using the same engine from NBA Street Homecourt, while the AI from FIFA 08 is being brought across. They also promised improved control over its predecessors. Rather than lifelike simulation, the game's emphasis will be on arcade-style fun. The cover features Brazilian star Ronaldinho, English star Peter Crouch, and Italian star Gennaro Gattuso. the game can also be played on Xbox Live.

Setting

The setting Id say for FIFA street 3 was about average decent, there were a range of different venues although it didn't really evolve on from the previous fifa streets, nearly all venues were just playing on a rooftop or some park or beaches not really getting all the aspects of the streets. I would personally have to say the setting was around average as i was not pleased with the game taking a change from the first or second.

Setting Rating:6/10

Gameplay

Right, the gameplay. The gameplay for FIFA street 3 was abit of a hit and miss. Mostly due to the fact that EA had taken a 2 year holiday and decided to put an arcade twist to the game, which was probably the biggest mistake they had ever made, due to this all players looked like giant cartoons with massive legs making your team look silly when on the ball and not in the slightest epic. Because of this the gameplay was really easy but also frustrating. for example with the massive legs comes an advantage more space to dribble easier to do tricks ect.. but with your opponents legs massive aswell its not even challenging to get the ball off you. And shots were extremely accurate. But if your a fan of the series then you pretty much know what your getting into, its a five a side fast paced game where you have to beat the opponents in the most epic and unrealistic way possible, can be a fun game but that feeling of 'ill never stop playing this game' wears off after about 2 weeks. Overall i would say the gameplay was average aswell.

Gameplay Rating:6/10

Graphics

The graphics for FIFA street 3 were absolutely horrific, all the players were each dramaticly changed to make them look like a cartoon, or something that represents their personality. Personally i hated the whole cartoon thing they had going on, it ruined the series for me and FIFA street 2012 managed to bring back what was needed for the series, they wasted time making FIFA street 3. As you can see from the cover, ronaldinho looks like a stupid cartoon, crouch is really tall and skinny in a 'cool' way but failed quite badly and gattuso just looks hench, which he is, so no real change their. Overall i would say really weak graphics, ruined the game for me.

Overall

Overall i would say the game is a 5 because of the lack of thought into the games main feal and more attention has been put on making a bunch of stupid cartoons, the game hadn't really evolved from previous game which is why i was very disappointed with the game.

Overall Rating:5/10

Good review man. I agree that it is almost too easy... and sometimes it doesn't feel like it is a full game.

Wasn't the best Fifa Street title but as with all of them i stilled loved every single minute of the game. I yearn for this to be brought back or added to the main Fifa series even if, like the world cup mode, its at the back end of the year as it will still keep my playing.

I agree with what you say about the gameplay they really took a step back from the others, they really dropped the ball making it more arcade like than simulation. But as always it was one of those games where you either love it or you get bored of it easy, and for me i just couldn't get enough of it, played a hell of a lot of it and playing couch co-op with a buddy just took it to a new level, seeing who can score the craziest goal and learning the skill moves as a pose to just randomly wiggling the sticks like i did back in the original.

Graphics were lacking but for an attempt at cartoon from a mostly realsitic graphic studio back in 2008 is wasn't too bad but i agree with the fact they would have been better off with leaving this cartoon arcade shit to others and go with what they knew and were good at.

7/10 - Hope they make a new one :/
