Synopsis(WIKI)
Burnout Revenge is the fourth video game in the Burnout series of racing games, released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox on September 13, 2005 and Xbox 360 on March 7, 2006, alongside the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS title Burnout Legends.
Similar to its predecessor Burnout 3: Takedown, Revenge focuses on a mixture of racing in the midst of rush-hour traffic, and vehicular combat; players use the cars themselves as weapons. Revenge also expands on the combat side of its gameplay with new features such as "traffic checking" (ramming same-way traffic), Vertical Takedowns (landing on a rival car after the player's car drives over a jump), a new game type (Traffic Attack) and significant changes to the gameplay of Crash mode (a game type where players attempt to cause as large a crash as possible). A sequel to Burnout Revenge, titled Burnout Paradise, was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 22, 2008.

Graphics
Racing Games, especially Burnout have always delivered great graphic design and overall design experiences throughout all of their games. The complexity of the cars, and different racing aspects, are simply incredible, and BO Revenge does not fail to deliver this amazing experience. The cars in Burnout Revenge are very widely varied, and have individual qualities to them. The colors do lack, as some aspects of the color and design are rather dark with dull qualities to them, including the scenarios of them. The scenarios are very widely varied, and have tons of detail to them, each crafted individually, overall very well designed. The details are very well detailed and feature a very overall amazing feel to them. The camera movements are very constructed, and the graphics do not fail to impress.

Gameplay
Burnout has always delivered amazing gameplay experiences, revolutionizing racing gameplay each time they release a new title. Burnout Revenge does not live up to the expectations, but it does give an overall very nice gameplay feel. The structure is very well setup. Racing is very smooth, and you should have no overall problems with getting used to the controls, in which I'll explain in a bit. There are quite a few bugs though, and they are quite fluent throughout. The variety does lack, but the overall racing aspect of this game does not fail to deliver a very fun experience. The repetition is not fluent, which is a very good thing, and features some innovating experience, but not something that you would remember for ever. The overall gameplay has a very mediocre feel, and nothing completely special.

Controls
Burnout Revenge contains some very overall smooth control structure to it. The controls are rather easy to get used to, and the game does a rather nice job of setting the scenario for you to get straight onto the track. The racing and driving is very smooth, and controls do not lack there. The attacking with the cars, and overall action does have some blocky controls, with some rather robotic controls, but other than that, the controls are quite nice. The controls are rather easy to remember, and overall, nothing should be completely that difficult.

Reception
Burnout Revenge was mostly appointed towards the higher mediocre scoring range, however, just peaking the low 9s, and higher 9s. The game was mostly noticed for its very nicely designed graphics, and its very smooth racing gameplay. It was negatively appointed for its lack of variety, and its lack of overall gameplay, and some rather negative aspects of the graphics and design. It was given an 8.9 from IGN, and from various rating companies it received around a 4-5 star rating, usually receiving the same ratings and scores. The overall score for Burnout Revenge was a 9.

FINAL RATINGS:
Synopsis: 8
Graphics: 8.5
Gameplay: 7.5
Reception: 9
FINAL RATING: 8.4 - Smooth Racing, Fun Experience, but Lack of Gameplay and some Errors

This was my favorite game a few years back. I used to play it on psp every day for a year..

This is exelent if you are looking for a racing type game to mess arround on. It dosnt put too much pressure on the person playing and it is alot of fun to mess around on aswell. Its pretty much a chill game that anyone can get used to and play

8/10

This game was one of my other favorites
always got my adrenaline rushing. Then I raged quit if I crashed in the beginning of the race or I didn't get the 4x Multiplier
