Synopsis(WIKI)
Lost Planet 2 is a third-person shooter video game developed and published by Capcom. The game is the sequel to Lost Planet: Extreme Condition, taking place ten years after the events of the first game, on the same fictional planet. The game was developed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows.[3] Originally set to be released in early 2010, Capcom delayed the game's consoles release[4] to May 11, 2010 in North America and Europe and May 20, 2010 for Japan,[5] and the Microsoft Windows version was released on October 12, 2010.[2] As of February 2, 2011, Capcom has stated that the title has sold more than 1.5 million copies worldwide.

Story
Lost Planet 2 takes place on EDN II around a decade or so after the first game. Lost planet 2 shifts mainly from 2 major points of views, being one Special Operations team, and the other switching back to mercanaries, fighting their way through EDN. The game consists of this constant switching, which may get very confusing at times, especially if you are new to the Lost Planet series. The story takes on various combat sequences, many different action sequences and events, but the storyline is actually really confusing with tons of very confusing aspects to it in general.

Graphics
If there is one major upside to Lost Planet 2, it is the wide variety of graphics and amazing design overall of the specific scenarios, characters, and in general the design and look of everything; when it comes to structure, it really demeans a lot of score, but the graphics in Lost Planet 2 vary from colorful forest scenarios, to barren deserts, all following quite a very well designed aspect of it all. The characters are designed individually, with expertise, and lots of details overall. The scenarios vary, carrying lots of different landscapes and scenarios. Although some creations in the game are very laggy, and crafted poorly gameplay wise, the graphics in this game are quite amazing.

Gameplay
The biggest downfall that really demeaned Lost Planet 2's overall score, was the gameplay, and the very buggy and glitchy structure of how everything was placed in general. The endless bugs, various glitches, and very weak gameplay. The gameplay is extremely repetitve, with the same bosses, gameplay, and enemies. There is a major upside to it though; Co Op is very fun, but even so, it is demeaned with the amount of laggy, buggy gameplay throughout. The gameplay really lacks entirely, delivering a very lackluster gameplay in general, with nothing extremely special.

Reception
As expected, Lost Planet 2 did not receive the best reviews. Many reviewing critics negatively pointed out its major flaws in gameplay and the somewhat confusing overall story, as that was another major issue throughout. The all around overall score for Lost Planet 2, was around a 65/100, or a 6.5 out of ten. The game was noted postively though about its co op gameplay and the somewhat fun and entertaining gameplay at times; nothing completely special about the Lost Planet 2 reception, including few, if any rewards.

FINAL RATINGS:
