Bee Movie Game is a video game based on the film Bee Movie produced by DreamWorks. The game was released on October 30, 2007. Beenox developed the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Windows versions of the game, Smart Bomb Interactive developed the Wii version, and Vicarious Visions developed the Nintendo DS version.
As Barry B. Benson, players take on an adventure to save the bees' production of honey through New York City. Players get to experience Barry's life within the hive and navigate their way around the world from the feature film using many techniques. Players can drive through the city using racecars, scooters, taxicabs, and trucks. Players can "fly" Barry at high speed through the sky. Using the Pollinator, players can Blast through obstacles or they can Buzz to cause a chain reaction. Players get to Stop Time by using Berry's bee reflexes. The video game features 2-person multiplayer mini games [1]. The video game Shrek the Third includes a Bee Movie Game Demo.




Story
The Bee Movie game takes on the story of the original movie in which is was solely based off of. The game takes on the protagonist "Barry B Benson" a more wild and energetic bee, in the hive. The Bee Movie game takes on various places throughout the main hive. When Barry B Benson, and his friend graduate from the B College, they go to work at Honex, a systematic location made for producing honey and other various matierials throughout the hive. When Barry explores the outside world outside of the Hive, always questioning what is beyond the hive, he comes into contact with knowledge that suggests that various companies are stealing the honey they are ever so hard working to make. The story pretty much takes on various quests and missions that Barry has to complete.




Graphics
The graphics in the Bee Movie game are very well constructed for its time period and other competitors. Bee Movie the game are actually well designed scenarios, colors, and various character designs. The colors are very vibrant, and lively, that feature a wide variety of different designs and textures. The graphics are overall nicely designed and constructed throughout the game. The only major downfall, is the camera movements, and construction of the graphics. Movements are laggy, the construction overall is very robotic and laggy to an extent. There are various glitches, and the lag within the graphics aspect of the game is enormous, with major flaws.




Gameplay
The gameplay in Bee Movie really identifies a major variety of experiences, as the gameplay in this game can widely range from various different aspects; racing, dodging, flying, action packed, adventure, and so on, this game delivers quite some variety. Along with the variety, there is a lot of exploration in this game. Once you leave the Hive, and stop working for Honex, the game takes on a major exploration feature, that really fits well in this type of game, delivering a newer aspect of variety, exploration, and overall action and adventure. The only downfall, is the lack of fun, and somewhat repetitiveness. Although there is tons of variety, there is barely any customization, or any user input that has a very deep impact.




Reception
The reception for the Bee Movie game was really remaining in the mid ratings to higher mediocre. The gameplay was purely notified for its amazing variety and exploration, for tons of different gameplay, variety, and overall exploration featured in the game. The game received an overall 73 or 75 out of 100, which also comparable to a 7.5 or so out of ten. The game was really mainly notified for its major exploration, its unique storyline, but negatively rated for its repetitiveness, and boring gameplay throughout.
