Synopsis (Wiki)
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a psychological horror first-person shooter video game, developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is a sequel to F.E.A.R. and was released on February 10, 2009. It is the second game in the F.E.A.R. series. It was made available on Steam on February 12, 2009.

Story
FEAR 2, follows an exact sequel to the original FEAR game. The protagonist is the character Michael Becket, an operator for the Delta Force. The storyline takes place approximately 20 minutes before the ending of the first game. The game follows a similar storyline to the first FEAR and continues with tons of ghosts, following and sometimes encountering,Alma, the super ghost which occasionally follows you and appears in some illusions and hallucinations, etc. After pieces of your team are individually picked off by Alma, Becket must uncover the secret behind Alma, and make his way in and out of the underground scenario in which most of this campaign takes place.

Graphics
The graphics in this game vary from dark, to lighter, and have various different scenarios to see. The scenarios and lightings are very light, and flow very well. The interface and menu screens and so on are very well made and have individual chracteristics with somewhat futuristic aspects to them. The crafted areas are very well made, and have tons of different styles and what not towards them. The darkened areas of the map make it efficient to have flashlights and explore various parts of the map. It may seem though, that some areas are completely darkened and it takes various amounts of light to see certain aspects of the desired map, or area. This is bad, because it might obstruct from obtaining information, and so on.

Gameplay
The gameplay in Fear 2 is very wide spread. From horror, to classic, to mystery, this game gives an overall great gaming experience. There are various ways to play the game, but it might seem that some aspects like the Horror and action sequences are just repeats from FEAR 1. The game features a lot of the same exact aspects from FEAR2, and it gets really repetitive at some points, when your looking for certain information and what not. It might seem boring at some times, or extremely bloody at other points; I'm not saying this is an entirely bad thing, but some of the aspects might seem very bipolar in some ways. The gameplay is either too bloody, or too boring. It doesn't entirely fulfill the same accomplishment in gameplay as FEAR 1 did, but it does deliver a good gaming experience.

Reception
This game received overall mediocre reviews from various critics. Ranging from the low 70s, to high 80s/low 90s. The game received various amounts of reviews as well. The game received various amounts of comments as well. "Amazing atmosphere...Fun weapons to use.... and tons of scares." Etc. Etc. The game received an overall average reception, with minimal complaints and what not. The overall review was around 7.7 or 8.
