Synopsis.
Downloadable Xbox Live Arcade version of the popular party card game. UNO is the classic party card game that's number one for family fun! Compete against three other players to match colors and symbols, go Wild with special command cards such as Skip and Reverse, and be the first to play all your cards. Gamers will be able to compete against three other cross-platform players on the Xbox 360 or Windows Vista platforms to match colors and symbols and be the first to play every single card. Add-on theme decks offer new art and new card effects, keeping the game fresh and challenging. So connect with friends, choose your favorite house rules, and get ready to shout "UNO!".

Gameplay.
The rules for Uno are simple. Play a card that matches either the number or color of the top card on the central discard pile. If you have no playable cards, you must draw a new one, play then passes to the next player. Before you play your second-to-last-card you must call "UNO!" Once the player has put down he/her final card the round is over.
The gameplay for Uno can be a great time! It can be fast playing and always finishing fast but can also be a slow play if you have players that are not paying attention to their screens. The objective of Uno is be the first player to play all the cards from your hand. Score 250 points in Standard or Partner mode to win. You have mutliple cards to help you along with this such as: The "Reverse" cards - These switch the gameplay was going around clockwise the use of this card would switch that to anti-clockwise. The "Skip" cards are used so that the player that was to go after you will have their turn skipped and they will have to wait till next time round. Another card is the "Draw Two" this is pretty self-explanatory but it makes the player next to you draw two cards. You finally have the "Wild" and "Wild Draw Four" cards these change the colour of the upcoming cards but with the "Wild Draw Four" you must choose the colour you have the most at the time being because if you don't and the person next calls bluff you will have to pick up six cards.
There are 3 gametypes: Standard - This is the normal game of Uno, simple enough you just have to get rid of your cards the fastest. Partner Uno - In this game mode you will have a partner who you will have to work together with if you wish to succeed without teamwork on this mode it's hard to win. And finally you have Elimination Uno - In this one if the player has no valid playable cards then they will be eliminated from play and will have to wait intil the next round is in play.

Multiplayer.
While single player is an aspect of Uno, If you have an Membership for online play you can do up-to 4 player online Uno. This can be great fun if playing with friends and also can be good for meeting new people if you are the social type as Uno is a casual play so you can be social-able with still having fun! You can tell that Gameloft put alot of effort into making the multiplayer smooth playing, fun and competitive all at the same time. You also have leader-boards and world ranking involved into the multiplayer concept, if you enjoy having the upper hand and bragging rights over your friends and other people then going into the "ranked" matches is definitely you're thing but on the other hand if your're just there for a casual game and laugh you have the option for "player" matches.

Graphics.
The Graphics are incredibly simple but yet give off the impression of calmness and joyfulness. While playing Uno you can see how many cards each player has but not what they are this is great to know because in Real life alot people can trick you by hiding their cards so the developers have thought as much as possible about eliminating cheating, In a way. The Music is also very calming while you play it gives of the impression of a social occasion with the gentle but still subtle music playing in the background to add to the atmosphere.

Achievements.
For the Xbox 360 Their are 12 achievements which equal up to a mass of 200 Gamerscore for achieving them all. The achievements are as follow.
  • Twister - Play 40 Reverse cards.
  • Skip To My Lou - Play 40 Skip cards.
  • Wild Thing - Successfully play 40 Wild or Wild Draw Four cards.
  • High Noon - Play 40 Draw Two cards.
  • Mulitplayer - Complete a 4-player game of UNO, In any mode, On Xbox Live.
  • Quick Change Artist - Change the color of the discard pile 5 or more times in a single round.
  • Wild Abandon - Go out with a Wild or Wild Draw Four card.

  • Devotee - Win 40 games of UNO.
  • UNO! - Successfully call "UNO!" and win the game.
  • Ace! - Go out without ever drawing a card.

Facts.
Uno is also Camera Compatible while playing if you wish to prepare the Vision camera for use simply plug in and play. If you have family setting the camera may only appear to set friends or people.
On March 27th 2007 Microsoft declared UNO to be the first ever Arcade game to exceed one million downloads. And in 2008 UNO won the award for Gamespot's "Best Downloadable Console Game".
There are also 4 expansion packs that are available to download which include different cards and some different rules of play. The packs are called: Project Gotham Racing Uno, Kameo: Elements of Power Uno, Uno 35th Anniversary & Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.
Another game aspect of the add-ons above is that if someone else has downloaded a pack and is using it to play a game, even if you haven't downloaded the pack you can play with them and this gives you a great look into what you could enjoy if you download the pack.

Opinion.
In my opinion Uno is a great family game that had alot to offer anybody! You could play the game for hours on end with friends and family members and almost always would result in a good time and a good laugh. With the expansion of Multiplayer aswell Uno has exceed expectation of a family card game. Also with the appearance of calmness it can help any "raging" community player calm down for a couple of games. For my I will give this a 8/10, as it is a great game but can eventually be boring with the repetitiveness of the music and gameplay.

Ahhh who can forget Uno. The xbox version of Chat-roulette. Men fapping at the camera at boys and women alike. It was great fun playing this with friends though.

Good review btw.

Keep it up.
