Synopsis

Pac-Man Championship Edition has been powered up!! Three years ago, Pac-Man Championship Edition was released and took the world by storm, 27 years after the original Pac-Man's debut. Now, for the 30th anniversary of Pac-Man, this classic game has been powered-up! Everything has been upgraded! New visuals and sound! Increased number of mazes! The game you know and love has been pumped up to a whole new level! Once you start playing, you won't be able to stop! Why don't you give it a try?

Gameplay

In this game the player controls Pac-Man on a series of different mazes to eat power pellets and gain a high enough score to progress through the levels to get to the championships and other unlocks. In this game, you have to pass an enemy ghost in order for it to start following you. The game put pellets around the ghosts so when you are close they will start following you. A couple of features included are that if you have a couple of bombs at your disposal if you think that you are going to hit an enemy ghost which blast all the enemies in your vicinity away. A great feature is when you are surrounded by enemies you have a few seconds where the game goes into slow motion so that you have time to make a swift decision on which path to take. As you take eat more pellets and fruit the Pac-Man starts to get faster in speed. Also when you eat big yellow pellets the enemies turn a purple colour which allow you to eat them as well, if a lot of them are successfully eaten in a row then you will get an achievement. Eating them in quick succession also increases the game speed (up to 50) so it gets faster and faster which leaves you lean at the end of your seat to control the Pac-Man at quick speeds around corners. The gameplay is really addictive with it's colours and speeds. It gives you rush and keeps pulling you back for more. The music is really high tempoed to get you into the game while you play.

Graphics

The graphics in this game are stunning, play in HD and you will be blown away. Everything works well and the colours in the game contrast exceptionally well. Here are some photos provided by Xbox showing off the great graphics this game has.

Overall, this game is a great game and will leave you playing for days; if not months. It's only 800msp which is a really good price for a game such as this. I strongly recommended as I've had loads of fun playing as I'm sure you will too.
