Game Details


Synopsis
You start the game off as a normal skater in the town of New Jersey. You are told by yer best friend Eric that Chad Muska(a pro skater) is going to do a demo down at a local spot. After a few tutorials and missions, you are being looked at by your local skate shop. This starts off your career as a skateboarder. You go through different cities, skate all types of objects, and eventually work towards becoming an amateur skater. You work towards getting new deals, pro sponsorship and fame. The road isn't easy though. Many missions and challenges stand in your way. Betrayal is a key factor in this game. Work towards becoming one of the best pro skaters around in this thrilling and fun game.

Gameplay
To start thing off, this is the first game in the series that allows the player to get off of their skateboard. Other than that, the gameplay is a lot like the other games. Using the buttons to do different tricks(grabs, flips, manuals etc) which is the normal in Tony Hawk Games. The game runs very smoothly. While the graphics are pretty low, it is ok enough for the game to still be enjoyable. The game also allowed cheats like, moon gravity(high jump), perfect grind/lip/manual and stuff along those lines. This can add a new spice to the game, and make the game a ton more fun.

Multiplayer
This game does have multiplayer, but it's only local. It's for 2 players, and it has a few game modes in which the players can play. You can free skate, score challenge, play graffiti, or challenge yer friend to game a skate. It is split screen and both players get a half of the screen.

Characters
There are not many main characters in this game, a lot of side characters do appear.
Your Skater has no one shape, you can fully customize and design him.

Eric Sparrow
Your "best friend". He plays a huge role within your road to fame.

He is yer first sponsor, and a huge push towards becoming a pro. He helps teach you about originality and the true meaning of skating.

He is the manager of your pro team(no matter which you join). While being a dumb lazy jerk, he does the right steps to help your career.

Soundtrack
Music is always a key factor while playing games like THUG, and this game does not disappoint. It has one of the best selections of music to skate too. It also gives you the option to take off certain tracks you do not wish to listen to. Here is the full list of music in the game.

9.5/10

This is possibly one of the best games I have ever played. It is a ton of fun. Playing on all the difficulties can really challenge you, and the game never seems to lose fun. I have beaten it numerous times, and I very much recommended it to all who like relaxing skateboarding games. I have put many hours into this game, wither it be multiplayer with friends or hours into the amazing campaign, this is a must buy game.
