Gameplay

I have had Cabela's Big Game Hunter for the wii for two years now, and I recently got it back for the Xbox. The game itself is good. Good gameplay, graphics are okay, and the realism isn't the best. In the game, you take the role of a hunter who goes from several locations hunting the "Big game" in that area. They include, Elk, Moose, Mule Deer, Caribou, Kudu, Red Stag, Big Horn Sheep, Cape Buffalo, Wild Boar and Grizzly Bear. The game is pretty slow paced, as you cannot run making it more hunterish, but can get annoying when you have to walk far. The game includes loads of extra weapons to hunt with, and tools to help get that big game, like the Elk Call, Deer Scent, and Sheep Call.

Weapons and Sound

The game has a lot of weapons to use, but when you start out, you get a basic rifle. As the game advances, you unlock more weapons including, shotguns, more rifles, hand guns, and bow and arrows/crossbows. The sounds in the game are okay. They could be a lot better, but aren't. The guns do not sound that real, and only certain animals actually sound like they do.

Controls

The game controls are fairly easy to pick up on. They are like standard Call Of Duty controls. The sensitivity in this game is terrible. You play on one basic sensitivity. and that is SLOW.

Overall Opinion

In my opinion, this game is good for those people who are laid back and don't like that fast paced games. This game is good for people under 16, because most older are impatient, which is what this game requires, patience. The following ratings are based on my time played in the game

Gameplay: 5/10
Controls: 5/10
Weapons and Sound: 4/10
Final Rating:5/10

Get this game if you wanna relax and just shoot some animals.
