Synopsis:

MLB Front Office Manager is an American Baseball game featuring all of the Major League Baseball teams. The game however is not played from the perspective of the players, but from the perspective of the coach/manager. Most people who play sports game prefer the player perspective, making this game the first of its kind and one of the least popular. Over the 30-year career of your GM, you will be judged on 8 things: North American scouting, international scouting, pro-league scouting, player development, trades, contract negotiation, and owner confidence and leadership. The game uses the SABR stat system, and keeps track of small things over time such as pitcher vs. batter history.

Multiplayer:

The idea of the multiplayer have up to 30 GMs and having a long competition was original and creative, but it was not played out well. There was lots of lag at times, and some games would quit on you. The game was not maintained well and was not followed up on as it should have been.

Graphics Rating:

For the time that the game was released, the graphics were disappointing. The players were very pixilated at times and seemed blocky without smooth edges. Graphics receives a 4.5/10

Multiplayer Rating:

The games multiplayer was well planned but poorly designed and maintained. If the game would have received better post release support, it would have scored higher, however it ended up awful. Multiplayer receives 4/10

Overall Rating:

The game was a poor game. It was not planned well and the audience it was focused on did not even like the game. This game was not what it could have or should have been. It receives a 4/10

Recommendation:

I would not recommend anyone to buy this game, as it most likely would not be the game they were expecting. Unless you are given this game for free, there is no point in owning the game.
