Synopsis
" A Modern God-Game where Nature is the Star."
From Dust is the latest original game concept by Eric Chahi, creator of the cult classic, Another World / Out of this World.
Immerse yourself in a world as exotically beautiful as it is dangerous! You control the destiny of a primitive tribe against the backdrop of a world in constant evolution, a universe where mighty Nature reclaims what is hers; and your mastery of the elements is your peoples only chance of survival...

Plot
From Dust puts you in control of a "God" known as the Breath, whos job is to protect and help a nomadic tribe. This tribe is searching for clues and memories of their ancestors. You have to help the tribe build villages in each mission, and then get the tribe to leave via a portal-esque device.

Gameplay
When you play as, "The Breath", you have the power to manipulate 3 substances, sand, water, and lava. The Player picks up these in a ball, and then deposits them wherever they want. Unlike water and sand, when lava is deposited it forms a solid substance. While playing, many environmental changes occur, these include tsunami's, volcano eruptions, floods, changes in the tide, and fires. You have to protect the tribe from these. Occasional, the player has the option to use special powers, these include jellifying water, infinite earth, evaporation, and put out fire. The controls are easy to grasp, and there are not any glitches I have found.

Graphics

The graphics in the game are stunning, everything is clear, sharp, realistic, and suits the game. Everything also runs very smoothly. They are also better then I expect for most arcade games. They are probably better then most full games.

My Opinion

From Dust is a very good game, it is fun, addictive, and will provide plenty of game time. It is very easy to use, but does require alot of puzzle solving towards the end of the game. I have enjoyed it alot since I bought it, and would recommend to anyone who enjoys games which aren't linear. Its a very good game, and well worth the price.
