Game Information:
Release Date: April 13, 2010
Developed: Ubisoft Montreal
Genre: Action
Platform: PC/PS3/Xbox360/ Mac?
Age Restrictions: 15+

Story:
Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth game in the Splinter Cell series. The story begins with Victor Coste - a friend of Sam Fisher ( the guy that you are playing with ) and a former Navy SEAL , held in a Black Arrow facility, interrogated by unknown (to us) men.You basically play the whole story, while it's told in past tense by Victor while he is interrogated. The story of Sam Fisher in this installment of Splinter Cell starts at Valletta, Malta. At that location you get help from Anna "Grim" Grimsdottir, a former Third Echelon colleague, to find and interrogate a man, connected to Andriy Kobin - responsible for the death of Sam's daughter. I don't want to spoil too much for you, because the story is really great and you can see what an angry father is ready to do to avenge his daughter. You go through several levels, some of them being an airfield, the Lincoln memorial and even the White House! I won't say why and when.

Gameplay:
Splinter Cell: Conviction introduces new features to the series, such as the "Mark & Execute" feature, which allows the player to mark specific targets, such as enemies and shoot them when they burst through a door or window.Another new feature includes the ability to interrogate people in real time and use objects in the surrounding environment against them. This is probably the coolest part of the game in my opinion because the interrogations are so BURTAL and awesome looking.
The game includes a Single Plyer mode, Co-OP ( with it's own story ) , Split Screen, System link and Deniable Ops mode.
In Co-Op you can play also through System link and Split Screen. In Co-Op you play with Archer and Kestrel - Third Echelon agents. I can't say much for the co-op story since I haven't played through it, but I am looking forward to it.
The Deniable Ops mode includes Hunter, Infiltration, Last Stand, and Face-Off. Face-Off is the game's only actual competitive Multiplayer mode, as it features the ability to kill the opposing spy. Hunter, Infiltration, and Last Stand are also Single Player and do not always have to be played with a human partner.

Graphics:
The graphics in the game are really good. The blood looks quite realistic when you shoot someone in the head. The lighting is perfect for each environment that you play in. The character models are cool and good looking, same goes for the guns.I've never had any issues with the graphics, the frame rate or whatever.

Bottom Line and rating
The game is the best in the Splinter Cell series so far.I absolutely loved every second of it.It was the first game that I got for my xbox, and my money were well spent on it, even though it's not that expensive anymore. The soundtrack is awesome. Michael Ironside does a great job in the voice acting for Sam Fisher. The gameplay was innovative and quite strange at first for the series, but it was spot on by Ubisoft. This is a must-buy game!

I thought the game was really good, I'm a big fan of the splinter cell games, and I wasn't dissapointed by conviction. I'd recommend this to any body who enjoys a stealth based game.
