Hey Guys, I am back. Some of you may remember me, I hosted modded lobbies around a year ago, then got the gold gifter badge and had other matters to attend and forgot about TTG.

Now I am back and want to be involved again and maybe get gold, but that's not the point.

Question of the night:

I am in a pickle, Say you have a job right now, had it for 9 years.
Someone offers you the same job, across the US and double the salary.
Do you take it? Considering the fact you are leaving everything behind.

I've come to think not everything is about money, but It is a very hard decision.

All responses would help! Thanks

If you are living well and happy right now then don't take the other job because what really matters is if you are happy with your current position in life.

Double the salary? Hm... if I have time to get everything established in the new spot first then yes. If a company wants you and off the bat gives you double of what your current employer gives you then that says they think highly of you. You've been working at the place for 9 years, they should be offering a highly salary of some sort if they want to keep you working there.

gonna be difficult to start fresh but at least your making double, think to yourself do you need/want the extra money and if yes then go ahead and move across the country and get the job! if not then stay home.

Depends, if youre making 8 dollars and it is raised to 16 across the USA, probs not...

If you make 50K and its doubled to 100K then yeah, it is worth it.

I'd probably do it regardless. If I had to money to move of course. You don't know to get to wherever you're going and be broke.

It really all depends on what you are leaving. If you are close to your family, have children or something holding you back, don't do it.

If I were single and didn't have children, hell yeah I would go for it!

If you don't like where you are now, leave. If you like it where you are, don't take the job that's out of town.

Now what do you say everything is gone. Your family because you will see them more than you think, or is it other important stuff. Please Reply. If it is just the family I would take the job just because you aren't actually going to lose them.
