My rant is that i think call of duty as turned way to futuristic, and i wish things were like they used to be back with MW2, i don't mind playing the newer call of duty's .. some things they have improved, other things they haven't, i feel like they've went to futuristic, and kinda reminds me of halo, I've leaned and turned towards battle field 1, but this is just my rant..... whats your thoughts on the transformation of COD

Jesus how many times have I heard this. All I'm going to say is, dont like it? - Dont play it. No one is forcing you. The franchise's fans are stubborn. Complaining won't erase the game from history. People like it, and some people don't.

Personally, it doesn't remind me of Halo. Oh okay I can jump in the air for 2 seconds out of a 10 minute game. Yeah the older Call of Duty's were good, but EVERYONE would eventually get bored of playing in the same few time periods. "Its the same game every year. Modern Warfare 8"

I'm fine with Infinite Warfare. I don't play it as much but i still enjoy it.

This is not a rant, it is a personal opinion nowhere in this topic did you really "rant".

The amount of times i see topics like these yearly are sad.

It is a game, it will progress as time progresses, this is common sense.

I think this 'rant' has been said way too many times to even credited as a real reason to why people are hating Call of Duty. MW3 came out, people wanted change. Ghosts came out, people wanted change. Infinite Warefare came out, people freak out and want it to go back to World War II.

Truly I don't believe COD fans know what they want anymore. If a franchises fanbase is this stuckup every game release then I don't know how they still survive year after year.

Oh wait that's right! You buy the game anyways! If you don't want futuristic games, vote with your wallet.

I like the way they're going with the CoD franchise with mostly the remastered part. I haven't cared for CoD much as I just started playing Xbox again after not playing it for 4-5 years, but I prefer Battlefield much more. I kind of wish they would have stuck with the MW2 style but I also loved Black Ops 1 and 2 as they went with more of a "futuristic" like you said, type of style. The new CoD's though to me just look bad, except for the remastered games.

Honestly, I'm not sure what I want in CoD anymore. MW2 and MW3 were two of my favorites. Played MWR online some, and I just don't care for it. IW feels so much better than it. Not sure if that is due to a smoother, more updated engine or I am just so used to the play style of the newer CoD's. I highly enjoyed IW's story. So good. As long as it doesn't feel like AW did, I am fine with the futuristic setting. I'd just rather not go back to the WW2 setting, though I know it will at some point.
