I agree, they should delete the account if it goes inactive for more than 6-12 months

lol 6 months and your account is deleted? 6 months is not a long time to be inactive or is that unusual, what if someone is going to hum idk college and they can't do luxury things like play xbox for 6 months should their 10 year tenure account be terminated just because reasons???? What if someone gets seriously ill and is out for 8 months and can't login to twitter, should their account just be deleted because of reasons??

Just be more creative and think of your own username, first come first serve with usernames.

Completely Understand your situation , they should make a rule that if they were suspended then let they lost the account and username and it should be up for grabs in my opinion.

I do agree it sucks because it seems like everyone wants a cool name on just about every social media. But I don't think they should just get reset unless they have been inactive for a very long time not like 6-12 months like the previous user said but more like 5 years or more kinda like Xbox is doing.

When Xbox released the held gamertags that were not transferred to 360 I was able to get "USD". I can see why company don't delete accounts though.

It is annoying but at the same time they own that name its their property, a company cant come take a car you own because its a shame you arent using it.

Just wait until 30 years from now and all the usernames taken will be of all dead people.
