To answer about cost, no nothing will be charged to your account, once translated you will see that the price says free. So if there is a charge, it'll be for (currency type)0.00, probably just to show you actually got the beta. It's probably just like getting a games with gold game for the 360 on the Xbox One using the Xbox One to get it. It'll ask for your card, however, no money will be taken from the card.

So i was able to download but when i launch i am unable to do anything of the sort. Cant search for matches or edit my classes

You have to change your rig or something among the lines.
