A buddy of mine requested a simple logo for his company that revolves around the gaming community.

I haven't done any text yet, but hopefully I will soon.
So here it is.

I started by modeling the joystick in maya.

Then I took a screen shot and imported into illustrator where I turned it into a vector.

What should I do for the text?
Should I change anything?
What would you rate this?

Was it hard to learn maya? I'm really thinking about getting into it.

This looks awesome, I'd say don't change the image as it's already nice. I just make the font bold as the image is already big and bold as it is. 8/10

Great work, the logo clearly represents a controller stick. Also I'm learning Maya atm (at home and college). My college course doesn't use cinema 4d because Maya is more for commercial based in the industry.

I picked it up in about an hour.
With out any previous experience.

I just looked up a few beginner tutorials.

Looks really good bro, graphics used to be my thing but now the generations are getting crazy.
