Hello, I was wondering if it is still possible to get the recon helmet in halo 3 on the 360.

Yea you can still get it, you just need to do the Halo 3 & ODST achievements.

no you cannot get it, after the vidmaster challenges you had to redeem them on bungie.net. the site has been removed.

Yeah. When they stopped the services (Bungie) 343i said they would release recon in waves for new players however I don't know how often they are anymore. They probably stopped giving it out totally for new players due to the games age (9 years)

take this advice from HALO they shut down bungie.net so not handing it out that way anymore but 343Industries is releasing it for all the new users i heard it refreshes every other month or so but besides that i wouldn't know.

Man I miss Halo 3 so much. Back in the golden days' people use to kill for the RECON Armor, only hand full of people had it including the developers. To answer your question sadly it's too late only way to get recon now is by using a JTAG. Unless you did the vid master achievements before Bungie released it on the last Bungie Day for free after that point on it is impossible to get it now unless using a modded xex file/(need a jtag) on Halo 3.

There's no way to obtain it unless you have an RGH, JTAG, etc. You had to complete all of the Vidmaster Challenges back in the day and request it through Bungie.net, but that site is no longer updated, nor affilated with Halo. Around the time it shut down (2012?) 343 gave everyone the armour set if they had signed into the site at least once before it shut down
