2 player, Local Co-op or Split Screen game for PC

Hi :-)
We have desperately looking for a 2 player PC game where we can play on 1 screen, either split screen or shared screen but every time we look up a game and get it, We find that on the PC version 2 player mode is only available over LAN or Online player, even if the console versions allow split screen. This is extremely frustrating considering the PC we game on is double the power of the current consoles. We tried Diablo 3, Borderlands, Kane and Lynch 1/2, Left for dead and several others and it always seems to be the same situation.
Any of you guys have an idea of a game we could play 2 player together without modding?

Resident Evil 6, Black ops 3 , Resident evil 5 i believe. only off the top of my head.

you could download emulators for wii games and if you have any usb controllers for any console, you can support up to 4 players i believe with mouse and keyboard, and 3 controllers.
You would have to look up some tutorials as its way to in depth to explain.
Hint: Dolphin emulator is great, but sadly no main PC games that are out support split screen.
Other than BO3 two player split screen, Rocket league also supports 4 players I heard.

Left 4 Dead was split screen on console this probably is on PC as well
Other than that have a look at more Indie games;
Rocket League
Gang Beasts
Lethal League
Road Redemption
Party Panic
Batlleblock Theatre
Magica
Just have a look on steam at (Indie, Local Multiplayer, local Co-Op) sort by relevance or reviews and have a look through some of the top ones.

Lovers in a dangerous spacetime is quite an enjoyable local coop game.
