Step 1: Determine If you qualify for Verified Twitter account by reading Twitter [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Step 2: Put a Twitter Follow account on your website
Step 3: Contact Twitter by filling up the form

Step 3: Submit the form by entering your Twitter Username and Password
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Be sure to have the following information ready:
1. Account name
2. Full name
3. Location
4. Official website (you will be given a suggestion to put the Twitter logo or badge on your official website to speed up verification)
5. Bio information (your 160 character profile summary)
6. Primary contact name (you or the individual who manages the account)
7. Additional contact information

Step 4: Once you send the complete information as mentioned above. Twitter Support will contact you immediately

I used different applications such as Instagram and Twitch/Youtube other Social Mediums

I am testing it now so I will let you know.

If not, then I believe the only way is through owning a website either through wordpress or any other domain/host

It could be beneficial for various reasons...


1. Have a blue checkmark to stand out
2. If you are well-known and or a public figure, You won't be impersonated.
3. Flex your Checkmark
4. You can also sell twitter accounts around the internet that have the blue checkmark for quite a decent amount.

It just completely depends on what the account is worth to the original owner to actually try and get the checkmark.
