I'm almost 18, and I have noticed that the cartoons 10+ years ago are more enjoyable than the new ones.
It's not than I'm growing out of cartoons, because I can watch Ed Edd and Eddy for hours
Cartoon Network's new cartoons are too dumb now
Anybody feel this way? Am I getting old or are cartoons just lame now?

Im 18 but never really liked Ed, Edd and Eddy but i will admit the old cartoons when i was kid were brilliant compared to the ones now.

I experience the same problem. Regular Show is about the only newer cartoon I can watch but man thinking back on CN and Nick's lineups for cartoons, they were bomb as hell compared to today's.

Because you were younger and liked bad things. The kids now are gonna be saying the same thing in 15 years or so. You really only like the shows from then now because you liked them when you were younger. Also the comedy styling is different now then it was then, you grew up on something and learned to love it as you did, the kids now will do the same.

And besides you are only remembering the good ones. Nothing is better or worse.

Courage the cowardly dog used to scare the shit out me as a kid now all these new shows suck apart from adventure time, all the 90s cartoons were bloody amazing like ed, edd and eddy.
