He has, many times, approved having immigrants that come LEGALLY. There is a difference in Immigrants and the giant wave of refugees that come, for those that are going to argue that. He's the first Republican to have such high notes with the Hispanic and Black community in decades. Soo..Obviously, they are liking him themselves?

To the OP: I like him for one very simple reason. He wants BUSINESS back in America. All these big Companies want to go over seas for cheap labor. And no, I don't mean places like clothing lines and such. But Lockhead, Triumph, Etc that are, IMO, very important jobs for the American community. Companies think to themselves 'This will make me more money' Until one day it crashes our economy because out people aren't making money for themselves and there is not real money flow.

They can come up with a bill and congress can equally shut it down (if 2/3 of congress does not agree with it), BUT the president can issue an executive order on it which bypasses all of that and now that bill is written into law.

Also, the presidents official name is "commande in cheif". The president is the head of the military. The president absolutely makes decisions lol.
