Hey guys, not a very savvy computer guy here but I was wondering why this computer is so cheap, especially with a 980ti.

Is it bad enough that it isn't worth buying? Thanks in advance

I mean, it's 8gb of DDR3. Which is really that good for high profile gaming. Also it's on sale and you're saving 2hunna.

I don't really think that's too cheap because I bought a computer similar to that a while back for around the same price so it is worth it.

The reason is:

FX-8320 will more then likely bottleneck with a 980ti
Motherboard isn't sli compatible
Power supply will probably cause a forest fire
No SSD

If I were you I wouldn't buy this, I suggest heading over here and get help on building a computer if you think your up for it. Forums/f=334/pc-building-forum.html

Make a post there and answer these questions:
What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation)
Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard?
Do you need a mouse?
Do you need an operating system?
What will you use the PC for?

The best person who can get you the best possible build for your money is Sanctorum.

Tbh if you're looking to spend around $900 on a new system, I wouldn't get this one.

AM3+ is old architecture, you're much better off going with Skylake. With the system you linked you won't be able to upgrade it much later down the line.
