I don't get the whole gold situation? Like do I have to have gold my account to claim one of these newly released names? I'm just really lost when it comes down to the gold part and if someone could further explain this I would greatly appreciate it.

This would really suck for people who are saving OG accounts to sell them later for a lot of money, Luckily my OG is on the PS4, many people have offered to buy it, but I'm not selling it for at least 5 years because each year the price increases by $20
