Wow, this is insane. I just woke up to check on the progress of this and we've ALREADY raached the goal on gofundme!
You guys are absolutely insane. The support we've received from everyone here on TTG has truly been overwhelming. We thought setting the goal to $1,500 would really be pushing it, but you guys have crushed that goal in less than a day.
We appreciate it so much. It's hard to really find the right words to thank everyone for what they've done to support us. This is a life changer for us, it's taking so much pressure off of us.

After talking to the staff, they've decided to let this keep going for a week from when the goal is reached, which is today. After this week, like Sean said, the top 5 donators and 1 random donator will be awarded the DE2USA badge.

Any donations that come in now will help us cover other expenses such as plane tickets, extra luggage fees so I can bring my belongings to the US, travel expenses to go to the visa interview (it's happening in early July and we have to go across Germany to attend it) and other visa / move related costs. Like we said in the first post, all of the donations will strictly go towards our future plans and not towards our personal entertainment.

We will keep updating this post with our progress to update everyone who has helped us out. It's important for us to make sure that everyone can clearly see that this is really happening. The next step for me will be to attend a medical examination in late June / early July and soon after the interview will follow. I will update everyone here with the results, I'm confident we will not have any problems during the interview.

Again, it's truly amazing what this community has done for us to achieve our goal so fast. Thank you so much!

Full respect to the others that spent $100+ on this, i just personally cant do that right now im sorry. The $1,580 was bugging me so i at least got it to $1,600.
