Hello,
I'm a new user on this forum, so this may not be the right category. But I have found that this is, economically speaking, one of the best times to buy an upgraded console. I just need to pick one.

Currently I have-
-$185 set aside for buying an upgraded console (Which is not enough, obviously, but I want my funds to stay intact while I'm getting more money in the next couple months)
-A fully compatible Xbox 360
-(Mostly) Xbox 360 sports games (Madden 16 most notable)
-1 Xbox 360 Controller
-NO Xbox Live Membership

My main goal is to get 2K17, since, when I fell the need to hit the sticks for some jamming, I play 2K12.

I'm wanting to, prioritized in order, buy the console, get NBA 2K17, get Xbox Live/PlayStation Plus, and get another XB1/PS4 controller. My questions are:

1. Xbox One or Playstation 4?
2. Should I wait for a 2K17 Bundle?
3. How much of anything should I buy?

Do you have any friends on the PS4 or the Xb1? If so, I would chose whichever most of your friends play.
I'm not too sure if they'll have a 2k17 bundle. Did they have a 2k16 bundle last year?

I would go with the PS4 the xbox 1 is complete shit

I would go with which ever one you have more friends on. I have a xbox one but that just because I've always been a big xbox fan and have been using xbox products for years. Honestly if I was you I would wait until E3 and see all the new and upgraded things they are coming out with.

Since your familar with the xbox console, i think you should get a xbox one.

Unless you have a lot of friends on the ps4 I'd stay on the Xbox One.
The PS4 does have slightly better graphics they say (I can't notice side by side in person but I have bad eyes)
but if you cared that much about graphics you'd play on PC.

Id say XBONE because its familiar.

PS4 to me is just strange.


However PC is so much better than both.
(i know you didnt state it, but it really is)

Pros: Save money on all games compared to One/ps4
Loads of deals on Steam, Origin, and other platforms.

XONE and PS4 controller support

Cons: Buying a PC prebuilt is the worst possible way to go about getting a PC.



If no PC: then get xone

Definitely don't get an Xbox one I got one when they came out it broke so I took it back and got another one then that broke so I just got a ps4 its 10 times better never had a problem with it either

Hey I think you should get the ps4 but one of the things you should look into first is what your friends have also the ps4 is better built then the Xbox 1 and I'm not to sure but i remember when the current gen consoles first got released the ps4 was $100 less then the Xbox 1 also back a few years ago when the old consoles were popular I had a Xbox 360 and not a PS3 I though the Xbox 360 was a lot better but then when the ps4 and the Xbox 1 came out I switched over to plsystion also the ps4 does have good featurueres like (share play) and a built in editing software and a built in recording software which you can make vidoes and upload to YouTube and other places and you can also live stream to YouTube, twitch and one more place I believe it's called u steam
