Ever since I bought GTA V for PC, I've always had some kind of problems with it.

Since last week, I haven't been able to play the game, AT ALL. I've tried playing Single Player, Multiplayer & even tried it in Safe Mode. When I load up the game (from Steam), it gets past the Social Club login screen and then onto the GTA V menu. It then gives me the options of; Settings, Online & Story Mode.

No matter which one I click, it takes me to the GTA V loading screen and no matter how long I wait; it will not load. It's like a continuous loading screen and it's very annoying. I wanted to play the new update, but I can't even play at all.

What I've tried:
- Re-installing GTA V
- Verifying Game Cache (via Steam)
- Starting in Safe Mode

If anyone can help me out, I will be greatly thankful. I will also give rep if it fixes the issue.

Thanks in advance!

You do meet the minimum requirements to actually play the game right?

Yes I meet the minimum requirements to play the game. I'm not going to bore you with the specs, but it's a beastly PC.

Yes that was the first thing I did, but you know how slow R* support takes to get back to you. I was hoping someone already had this problem and knows a fix for it.

Try to run the game in Administrator mode.

What are your system specs? 'beastly PC' doesn't mean anything.

What are driver version are you running?

Does it give you any error codes?

Have you contacted Rockstar Support?

Unfortunately that hasn't changed a thing. It still doesn't work.

My system specs are way over the minimum requirements so that is why I said I didn't want to bore you with the specs.

I'm unsure which drivers I'm running because I'm currently at work, but it's the latest up-to-date Nvidia drivers.

I get no error codes at all, just a continuous loading screen.

Yes, contacting R* was the first thing I did.

Go Into

Documents > Rockstar Games > Social Club > Profiles

And there should be a folder with lots of numbers and letters.

Back it up somewhere then delete it out of the folder and try to launch GTA.

Make sure you have a connection to the internet and signed into you rockstar account.

If that's not the problem you could have settings all messed up somhow and may just need to restore them to default.

There is a text document in the bin folder of the game directly with all of the settings.

If you clear it the game will set them back to default.
