Some people get there items back but it takes awhile. Steam is notoriously slow to when it comes to things like this. Just be patient and cooperative with them and hopefully you will get your items back!

Hello Luke,

We have previously restored your inventory as a one-time exception due to your account being compromised.

We will investigate this user and take appropriate action upon the hijacker, but we are unable to make changes to your inventory. Please note that you will not receive a notification about any action taken as a result of this report.

For complete information about our Steam Item Restoration Policy please visit the following link:

Your computer is likely infected with malware. We suggest immediately scanning your computer with a free anti-malware program such as Malwarebytes or Microsoft Security Essentials. In order to best secure your account going forward, we recommend enabling the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator on your Steam account. Please see instructions and more information here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Additionally, please take a moment to review our Account Security Recommendations:

All I can say to this is bullshit they know it's the same guy who hacked me before and why cant they just trade my item back from his account then proceed to ban the **** looser. This seems pretty stupid.

How stupid are you to get hacked twice? Don't blame it on them for your stupidity.

Why are you mad at them? If you account is hijacked it's 100% your fault. If you don't take your account security seriously don't blame anyone but yourself.

Not blaming my self because I wasn't the on who installed a **** rat onto my computer. Also steam support is pretty stupid because when they "ban" the account they can trade back the **** items. I'm 100% he will not be banned and this is why now I need to make a new account so in the future if this happens again I get my shit back. Also I setup the mobile authentication that's the best they they came up with yet.
Fanduel is getting in trouble for a running a 'gambling' site but sites like csgojackpot take no skill and all you do is bet money into a pool and win.
This has nothing to do with the topic it's just my opinion.

Why would they go thru all that trouble for a sub $80 USD knife?
If it was a RAT then everything on your computer is theirs, so means they have access to your private information. That being Social Security Number, Credit Card information but they take your Steam Items?
Plus, You were the one to install the RAT onto your computer.
Do you even know what a RAT is?

You say things like, "removed all viruses from my cpu."
You clearly have no idea what you are talking about.

I highly think you did something stupid like downloading a "TeamSpeak Update" when you joined some random kids server, or opened a link that downloaded something to your computer. It's your own fault if you are stupid enough to click on sketchy links or updates.
