I dunno, I've been on a few different forums and I've found that topics such as this have helped me understand music genres and perhaps even gain insight as to what music I might enjoy. So, basically, find a song or album or whatever and just post it! But also, in the same post, rate the song above your comment. The scale should be 1-10.

And don't get me wrong, I am not expecting this to blow up on TTG because this isn't a music-related website. But this is fun, and music rox

Here's my song:

interesting how nobody replies. Well, I'll keep it alive. I like Earl Sweatshirt but his new album is booty. This was the good stuff. 9/10

I like it but, I find it hard to listen to this without someone rapping over it. Sounds like a Nas type of beat to me. 7.5/10

Not really into Justin Bieber but I really like this song. I really love the production behind it and plus I'm a huge fan of Travis Scott.

Honestly, I'm glad to hear that Justin Bieber is still vocally ok. However, I prefer a different taste. 6/10

Really not my cup of tea, 1/10 would not listen again.
Here's my timeless classic from the hit film White Chicks.

I've heard this song a lot.. it's really mainstream, but it's catchy and that's probably why.

I hope you all have heard of MF Doom... truly great rap. Here's one of his songs from the underground collab album Madvillainy with Mad Lib.
