Okay guys I recently bought an Xbox one and I did not receive a headset with it.

With the Xbox I got a controller with the 3.5mm jack at the bottom of it but I want to plug my turtle beaches in...

What I was wondering if I buy a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter and plug my turtle beaches in through that, will that work ?

My turtle beaches are 2.5mm jack.

Because you can buy the Xbox adapter but I was wondering if I even needed that as my controller has a 3.5mm jack in it .

I used my x42 turtle beachs doing that, I couldnt find a xbox 2.5 to 3.5mm so I used one for the ps4.

Yea, I found the cord at Best Buy, Obviously In the ps4 section. its like 10-15 bucks
