I was bullied a lot and didn't have many friends. Though it was OK because i had my video games and a few friends that i liked at the time. I was pretty much an emotionally damaged teen who thought that people were bad and pushed away anyonr that was close to me.

I'm much better now and am glad that I'm out

When I first started High School, I went to a public school and I hated it. We always had fights and gang problems. So late in my freshman year I went to a private school and ever since then I liked High School even though there is some bumps and downs.

I went to a totally different highschool from what my friends from middle school went to. I had no friends at the beginning of 9th grade. Two weeks in, i just started talking to people who sat beside me, then i wasnt alone anymore.

When your in high school, you just want to get out and leave it. You think your ready for the real world but you wont be. You will think only because your out of it, you can do whatever you want. You will still have people around you telling what you can and cannot do.

My advice is, tried to learn as much as possible that way if you decide to go to college, youll be sort of ready, yes, sort of.

College is way better than high school. No more drama.

I am fortunate to live in a very small town where everyone knows each other so it was pretty easy.

For me, luckily, the hardest part was getting up in the morning. I hate mornings. I missed almost 70 days of school one year because the sleep was 2 stronk. Don't worry I still passed the grade, haha.

When you are at your kind of age, you don't appreciate just how simple it is. I know I didn't anyway.

Luckily, I have always been the kind of guy that everyone gets along with; I'm pretty relaxed and easily approachable so most people find me easy-going.
People at the high-school age just bitch and moan and cause hassle for each other, I learnt very early on to not give a shit what other people think and just get on with being me.
If people didn't like that then they weren't particularly people I wanted to be around.

My experience with secondary school (I'm from UK) was that it was easy and went surprisingly quickly. It seems only yesterday that I started in yet here I am now studying my software engineering degree at university.
