And if I like to do CoD banners, who are you to judge? I don't stick do doing one thing, if I would like to do professional looking work I would. I just like this better for myself, than doing a professional looking banner. Because I'm not a professional.

Honestly you're the one that doesn't seem to know what you're talking about...
This style has been done, and done, and done, and over done.

I mean, you executed it well though.
But I still don't like it, the grungy 3D stuff is pretty generic.

You say it's some of the best 3D work on here?
I think that's pretty egotistical... I've seen way better 3D banners.
And better yet, actual 3D designs with modelling and building, and whatnot.

I mean you can go ahead and do it if you want but it's essentially a dead end.

And don't take feedback so hard. People will till you their opinions whether it's what you wanted to hear or not.
You can't ask for feedback, then get a negative comment, and fight them, tell them its not real feedback, and say their wrong.
If you dont agree just take it into consideration for future use, and move on.

No, the style hasn't been done, done and done. The grunge type of banner has been done, but this isn't even like he said it was, C4D Plugins, which is what's overused. I agree that grunge type of banners is overused, but not this 3D text style, if this text style is overused, how come you guys don't complain when someone makes a abstract 2D banner? It has been done probably a lot more times than this style.

But yeah, I agree that grunge type of banners might be a thing of the past, but I can't agree with the 3D text. I used to do the typical 3D banners with plugins, but I stopped because it was not outstanding anymore.

And yes, I say it's one of the best 3D work I've seen around here. I agree though that the people that's goods on modeling is a lot better than this, such as Jrd like I said. But 99% of the 3D work on here looks like my old work, and you know it aswell. If there has been any good 3D banners on here, that's an overused style and not modeling, which is better than mine, please show me?

I usually take in feedback, but I don't feel like this feedback will get me anywhere, what do I learn from people telling me things I already know? And what kind of feedback is saying it's overused?
