So a few months back I posted on here looking for a PC build with a budget of £1400 - 1500 and it's been running good so far.

However, I want to overclock the CPU instead of upgrading to an i7 but not sure on if the current motherboard will support it or whether I'd have to purchase a new board.

I'm also wanting a new case, power supply and water cooling.

Budget: I'd say about 300 - 350 GBP depending if I need a new motherboard or not.

PC Specs: i5 4690k @ 3.50 ghz
Hyper 212 Evo Cooler
GTX 980 Ti SC
ASRock Z97 Extreme 3 Motherboard
8GB DDR3 Ram
1TB Standard Western Digital
550W XFX Power Supply

Thanks

The motherboard will be fine for overclocking, you will want to invest in a new cooler though.

Ok man that seems fine about the motherboard then. Could you suggest us a water cooler, case and power supply?

I heard about the H100i but reading about on here some NZXT x61 or something was better etc...

Would be great, thanks.

What is your budget for the cooler and case? Your current PSU should be fine to overclock.

Yeah the PSU is ok but its not modular and the extra cables are quite annoying, so a fully modular one would be great.

The budget for that and the cooler, case would probably still be like 300 GBP depends really.

Thanks

Ok looks good, although that is the case I already have aha, I didn't say so that's not your fault.

The case is fine but I find that the cover part for the psu blocks alot of my wires and I had some trouble stretching to fit onto the motherboard.

Have you got any other cases like a full tower or something?

Thanks
