Would it not be better going for a Gas Operated BB weapon than a spring loaded one?

From past experiences BB guns which are mostly plastic and a cheaper price dont last too long.
It would be best to save up for a better one rather than spend a bit less and have it break on you.

Both are cheap low quality which won't last long. I got into air soft pretty heavy, I bought a Thompson model that was metal with a real walnut wood stock. I spend 450 bucks on it, sold it for 200. You will find better quality crap for a bit cheaper on Craigslist. I personally don't like gas or electric. My electric guns never held a charge for very long, it seemed like if you where playing with 2 5 person teams you get one game before you have to re charge. Co2 is just loud and powerful which will break your gun if you didn't buy a quality metal one.

Out of all the air soft guns I purchased, my shotgun was the best. I think I spend like 100 bucks on it, it had metal internals and plastic externals so it was fairly light and all the stuff I need would hold up. It shot as straight as an air soft gun can and I had the option of shooting one, or 3 bb's. Of course it was spring action in the form of a pump action gun. I like spring guns myself because you can work on them yourself and in my experience just out and out last longer if you take care of them.

Another thing, air soft guns are not very accurate and there is no real need for a long gun (rifle, shot gun, etc.). Pistols are a lot cheaper, generally easier to ****, and are small so you can get in and out of places easy. You can also conceal them pretty good. I always had one loaded in my belt so that if I ever did get caught and they where dumb enough to take me as prisoner, I could quickly reach there and shoot them and I'm home free lol.

As far as your original question, if those are the only two you would consider, I would get the first one.

Tbh, neither are good. i know they are cheap but cheap means they will break easilly... like first month break.

also they dont really perform that well.

but if thats all you ca afford i guess its ok, just gotta be extra careful how you handle it.
