PishTaker wrote They just look like a lot of line shapes.
Nothing to attach them too gives them no meaning.

Logos don't necessarily mean something?

Well they kinda do, they are used as an identifier.

A logo doesnt have to convey what your company does
More often than not, business logos dont actually portray what the company does. Or creates. Think the McDonalds Golden Arches. No hamburgers. Think the FedEx logo. No trucks or planes (though a cool hidden arrow). Think the Nike swoosh. No sneakers or golf shirts. etc. While sometimes having a logo that portrays an element of the company is appropriate, its often better to have a corporate logo thats graphically void of detail a logo that can be adapted to whatever direction the company takes. Think the Apple logo. True, it is an apple. But theres no indication that it belongs to a computer company. Thats a pretty cool thing the Apple logo looks just as cool on an iPod as it does on the top of a Powerbook.

But it's the design process, how you got to that logo. Seriously if you don't think about the design process, you're not designing a logo correctly.

I mean you said it yourself, they look to be 5 minute jobs.
Just random shapes, looking to only fit in the cod community really.

As for the claim that logos don't have to symbolize anything, that is the most idiotic thing I've seen.
The best logo is one where you don't have to ask what it represents.

Mcdonalds has the golden arches as most of the first stores had two arches belonging to each side.
The logo was made so that drivers could easily identify
what it is (this is also why they had them on the buildings).
It was made to catch you eyes, to symbolize the building itself.

The FedEx logo, if you haven't noticed has an arrow between the 'E' and the 'x',
representing moving forward, or even myths of the companies right hand turn only policy.

The swoosh of the Nike logo is meant to symbolize speed and movement,
in the simplest absolute simplest way possible.

These logo's (yours) represent nothing.
They are random shapes that have become to accepted, and too passed off within the community.

Try actually putting some thought into making your logo,
it represents you, in either the best, or worst way.
