Gaming isn't my life.

Ball is life, and forever will be, life.

As much as everyone is giving support, I also think you should follow your dreams. But I do think you have to first fully understand the commitment to actually pursue a life in gaming. It's not the same fun as you have as a kid, hours are brutal and it certainly has a huge impact on your life outside the monitor. Again, no trying to discourage, I do feel you should follow your dreams, but I just think you should really look into the career path and make an informed decision. If you already have then the best of luck and go for it, it's your money, but if you haven't, really think about if it's what you want.

Do what you want dude, but don't socially isolate yourself because of it. Online contact doesn't substitute real life contact (i.e. you'll become out of tune with social cues) and a lack of social exposure is unhealthy. I personally recommend that if you think gaming is actually your life, you diversify your hobbies and interests a little to try and have a broad personality and develop yourself. Also look after your health by exercising and eating well (when my life was anime and ttg my wellbeing went down the shitter) It's a big world out there and i'd encourage you to go out and experience it as much as possible.

Do what you makes you happy and you should do that with everything you do opinions of others don't matter.

Always consider the future money for a car and college is something you always have to consider

Don't let gaming be your main focus as the reality is that it's difficult to make a living from gaming. Unless you get really lucky on YouTube etc.
I am not saying stop what you enjoy doing but I am saying progress with your job and plan a career for if gaming does not work out when you are a little older.
