The 212 isn't really ideal if you're looking for larger overclocks, so no. You'd be much better off getting cheaper RAM and spending the money you save on a better cooler.

The cooler is okay for small overclocks.
Download windows of the microsoft website and buy a activation key for $50 of gta.
then use the $60 you have save to get a better cooler.

If you must spend the extra $70 for the 4690k. That still leaves you $85 to get a better cooler and OS. Don't pay retail for your OS, get it from [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] , or get it for free.

I have that exact cooler for my secondary build, it is quite noisy and feels quite cheap. Also the thermal paste that comes with it is rubbish.
I would say spend like $10 more and you can get something much more quiet.

What's the difference between the visiontek r9 390 and the msi? there is like a $80 difference.
