I wouldn't resent you in any way after all. Its the reasons you were flying it for that matter. Another note is the Nazi flag the swastika itself its actually a religious symbol in many cultures and has been for many years the Nazis took said symbol and flew it which is why there is so much hate on it. It long existed before the Nazis slapped it onto a flag.

because anyone who isn't Southern, no matter of it's true meaning, associates it with army that stood for in some part for slavery and the ownership of humans. Not saying it is right or wrong I'm just putting it out there.

Mostly being removed so they don't have riots like in Missouri, and Baltimore when things don't go peoples way...

It's an ugly flag and they're not trying to remove your freedom to fly it.
It's mostly being removed because it represents racism. Just like the Swastika represents social Darwinism and Eugenics.
If someone flew a Swastika and said 'I'm not a racist, it represents my heritage' you would laugh in their face.

The only way that quote makes sense is if you are talking about the flag as it were a person. Sure, it isn't racist because fabric can't be racist. Would I be racist if I thought a flag that was brought back from the Civil War to protest desegregation in the 60's is racist? No, not at all. I also know not to assume everyone that flies the flag is a racist. The flag itself though was heavily involved in racially motivated events. But I am sure someone may throw in the other Facebook viral photo of "If you ban this flag, you should ban the US flag." No, because the US flag is our official flag and we still have the opportunity to do good work with it, unlike the Confederate flag. The CSA fought the USA and people expect the USA to fly flags of the enemy? That is odd to me. Sounds like an oxymoron-type of situation. It is like we should still be flying British flags then, because it is our heritage after all.

Where on Earth did you get the idea that people are complaining about this because it 'Reminds them of Slavery'
It doesn't remind them of it, the flag represents people who fought for slavery to continue.
That's a far cry different to black people calling other black people the n word.
The n word has taken on a different meaning, it's undergone semantic change, like a lot of words do.
The Confederate flag is frozen in history, it still represents all of the things which it represented when its followers were defeated.

If it has taking on this new meaning you speak of than how come you won't say it? You call it the N word.
