That's part of the problem with the kids in the UK most of them can't stfu.

If he sues he won't win, the police were attempting to gain the facts of the crime that took place the best it would of been is a public order offence although correct he does not need to tell them his name and address he cannot leave.

They said there was a witness so I'd guess they were just going to check if he was part of it and if he was not let him on his way but his dumb ass decides to struggle and then when being arrested attempt to resist it.

He should be fined for wasting police time.

On the plus side this wont hurt any chances of him getting into the Army as at the very worst this would only be a public order offence and won't show on a CRB.

Your completely right but in this case due to the guard lying about the racial abuse order and the fact they were acting outside of there poweres he should of been allowed to leave. I don't know if its different in the US or not but the act that he was following was Section 13 Of The Criminal Procedures Act. I know he could of easily told the officers his name and he would of been on his way but in the eyes of the law he was right. I appreciate you commenting on this and your comment has made me think. I do not think the assault charge is necessary or obstructing an officer while undergoing there duties, The only one which is debatable is the refusing to give details charge, But again thank you for taking your time out of your day to read this story, Looking forward to your reply.

You keep going back to Section 13 Of The Criminal Procedures Act, which actually shows the officer was in his right to stop you.
They were trying to ascertain what your involvement was and you turn into a gobby shit and got what you deserved.

And please for the love of god please stop pretending this aint you ffs. You look like a clown in the video and are beginning to look like one here

There was no crime commited therefore the need to "ascertain my involvement" was irrelevant. That shows that section 13 does not show the officer was in right.
