How far is this going to go? "treat the flag like a citizen?" uhmmmm I dont know how I feel about that, what are the limitations on this, ive seen US flag rugs.. that people step on all the time. American flag floor mats outside someones house. There was no harm there, what about when the flag is depicted in art? Are we going to no longer be able to depict the US flag in distress?

Sure stepping on the flag for ANY country is not cool and only a fool would do that, but I dont see how a few stupid people doing this ONLY for attention should really change any laws. If someone wants to step on a flag, im not going to stop them. They are obviously ignorant and dont know what the **** they are REALLY doing.. why should I interfere with ignorance and stupidity? I think ill just let them be video taped and have the rest of the US tear them apart with truth, while I sit back and laugh.

Bottom line, stepping on the flag is a no no. But if someone wants to do it, idc. Just like burning a book, go ahead and be an idiot..

Do I support it? No. Do I "defend" their right to do it? Yes. While I can understand the disrespect people feel when they see it, I don't understand the amount of hate that comes with it. That is one of the freedoms we have in this country. If you don't like it, then you can leave. (See, that works both ways.)

Considering that's not true... Have you forgotten ISIS? Delta Force had an operation a few weeks ago.. There is always a war going on.
