Looking for a new phone. Prefer Android of Apple, just because I can program on it plus I've got a few hundred dollars in movies+games I don't want to lose.
Currently using the LG Optomius Pro. Couple years old and has a problem where, randomly, it just shuts off. Touching it or not. I'll set it down on my desk and a couple minutes later I'll check on it and it had shut off. Been using that for 2 months now Can't stand it anymore.
Carrier: At&t.
Budget: Anything. At&t let's you do monthly payments.

I am going for the LG G4 soon, looks awesome. But then again you can go for Samsung Galaxy S6 and loads more.
The G4 is quick, 6 core i think. Also has an amazing camera if that interests you.

I'm pretty biased because I have the S6 edge and think its the coolest phone out there...well maybe thats true because there
is no other phone out there that has a 4K display and a dual curved screen. The battery is so so, it gets better after a week of use
believe it or not. To add a few things, the camera is amazing, the full resolution is incredible.
Fast charging can take me from 0-25% in about 10 minutes, when the phone is off.
The are only two downsides to this phone.
1. No expandable memory; can be fixed by utilizing cloud storage. i.e. Google drive and Microsoft Cloud
2. TouchWiz; can be improved by disabling bloatware apps, can be fixed by using launchers and icon packs.
If you want to save some money go for the standard S6. Still the same phone just w/o the edge screen.

Honestly, you should buy a phone off contract, no 2 year or next plan, therefore you'll get a discounted price monthly. go for the galaxy note 4

The s6 edge isn't 4K. Its 2560x1440 so it's 1440p

I'd suggest a Nexus 5 or 6, I have the 5 and it's a wonderful phone, it's big (not giant) runs everything smoothly and the nexus 5 is kind of cheap I believe factory is like $350, while the 6 i'm not too sure about. Another good thing about these google phones is that they aren't locked to any carrier so if you wanted to change carriers you don't have to pay for it to be unlocked as they are always unlocked.
