This will be a heavy gaming computer. I have about 100$ more to spend and was wondering if this would be an ideal upgrade? I won't be overclocking. If this is a bad choice where should I put extra

Well im not sure what you just linked, but that is a K series processor, so if you're not overclocking, don't buy that.

Also we need the rest of your build to determine where $100 would best be spend.

Oh. I thought they had a non K for 4690 as well. Ok then that is fine. If theres anything lacking try and add to it with an extended budget of 100 thanks

I would use the money to get a larger ssd and a better psu.

Theres little difference between the 4460 and 4590.

This is identical to the build I'm looking at, just waiting to see how the amd 300 series gpu's are and intels 5th generation of CPUs are.
