My price range is in the title. I am looking for a geoforce because I heard the gtx is the one most common with problems.

GeForce GTX is the current model name Nvidia use so you wont be getting a GeForce card that isnt a GTX.

I wouldn't get a GTX at that price range. I would look more towards an r285 because it will give you more performance. GTX's are really only better once you get to the 970. The 960 is compareable to the r285, so if you really want GTX you could get a GTX 960.
